1. From the Local Members page, click on Local Events.

2. From the Local Events page, click Add Event.

3. Read to the acknowledgement that no meeting links will be included in the event, in order to mitigate security risk, and click OK to continue.

4. Add your Event Title and Event Description.

5. If your event has a flyer, or corresponding image, add it to Event Image.

6. If the event is in-person, enter the Address, City, and Postal Code under Event Location.

7a. To enter the Start and End date, click on the date under Start.

This will give you a calendar pop-up to select your event Start date.

Repeat for the End date.
7b. To enter the Start and End time, click on the time under Start.

This will give you a drop-down menu to select your event Start time.

Repeat for the End time.
7c. For all day events, check the “All Day Event” checkbox.

8. Use Event Categories to share your event with specified local and regional associations.
Click on the white box, and a dropdown menu will pop up.

Select the applicable local and regional associations involved with the event by clicking on the appropriate names.

9. To create a ticket for your event, click on + NEW TICKET.

9a. Add a name for your ticket under Type.
The name of your ticket type can be Ticket, Event Ticket, etc.

9b. Provide an optional Description.
If you provide a description, you have the option to display it on the ticket (show registrants) by leaving the Show description on frontend ticket form checkbox selected.
If you would like to include a description, but not have it displayed to registrants, unselect this checkbox.

9c. Enter the date and time you would like to start and end ticket sales.
If no start date is selected, the ticket will be immediately available. If no end date is selected, tickets will be available indefinitely.
To enter the Start sale information for your ticket, click on the first box next to Start sale.

This will give you a calendar pop-up to select your event Start date.

Next, click on the second box.

This will give you a drop-down menu to select your event Start sale time.

Repeat the steps of 9c. to enter the time and date ticket sales will end.
9d. Enter the price for the ticket. If the event is free, leave this field blank.
Only numbers can be entered in this box, no letters, or special characters.

9e. Set the ticket capacity for this ticket.
If you have multiple ticket types and a limit on the number of tickets you can sell, select Share Capacity with Other Tickets and enter a number of tickets in the box under Set Shared Capacity.
You can also set a maximum number of tickets that can be sold for this ticket type under Sell Up To.

If you want to set a capacity for this ticket only, select Set Capacity for This Ticket Only and enter a number of tickets in the box under Capacity.

If you have no limit on the number of tickets, select Unlimited Capacity.

10. When your event is ready, click Submit Event at the bottom of the page.

Once you have submitted your event, it will be live and can be distributed. Once the Association team has reviewed the event, the content will also be made publicly available on the “Upcoming Events” website page on ontariosoilcrop.org.
