Cover Crops: Experience Talks (Virtual)

The focus for the session is growing and managing cover crops outside Ontario’s “banana belt” (the southwest portion of the province), both with crops like corn, soys and wheat and also as a source of livestock feed. Hear from three experienced farmers and researchers on what they’ve learned over the years:

• Adam Ireland – Farmer in Bruce County
• Andy Van Niekerk – Farmer and CCA-ON In Simcoe County
• Dr. Josh  Nasielski – Assistant Professor, University of Guelph, with research focused in Eastern and Northern Ontario
