Tune in to hear from an expert about the benefits of organic amendments. Chris will be followed by a presentation on Cover Cropping, including topics like mix selection, planting, establishment and more!

Finally, we will be hearing from Sam Schultz (AAFC) about the uses of satellite imagery in agriculture! She will also cover how to use AAFC’s Residue Survey where farmers can submit photos of their field surface to help improve interpretation of satellite imagery. This webinar and the following activity is an OSCIA-recognized Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE) for farmers with On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) projects in the Nitrogen Management and Cover Cropping categories.

To qualify as a KSE, farmers must attend this webinar AND submit a surface photo of their field to AAFC’s Residue Survey. Instructions on how to use the survey will be given during the webinar and emailed to to farmers following the webinar.
