DESCRIPTION:An afternoon in Prince Edward County for farmers\, families\, agribusinesses and neighbours from across the Quinte region — food\, fellowship and a bit of fun\, plus a talk on what’s going on in your soil. \nFree to attend. Lunch included. Bring the family. \nThe Quinte Region Summer Meeting is a summer tradition in this region\, and it lands at a good moment: after the busy stretch of the growing season and before harvest takes over. Join us at Reynolds Farms near Picton on Thursday\, August 27\, 2026\, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. \nWhat to expect\n\nA meal and a catch-up. Lunch is included\, and the afternoon is built around having time to talk with people you don’t see often enough between spring and harvest.\nFamily welcome. There’s a climbing wall for the kids and room to bring everyone along — this one isn’t just for the person who farms.\nSoil biology and nitrogen. Shawn Brenneman of CanGrow Crop Solutions speaks on soil biology and nitrogen use efficiency in the field.\nYour neighbours in the room. Farmers\, agribusinesses and rural community members from across the Quinte region.\n\nThe details\n\nDate: Thursday\, August 27\, 2026\nTime: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM\nLocation: Reynolds Farms — 1001 County Road 4\, Picton\, ON K0K 2T0\nCost: Free.
