SUMMARY:U of G Cover Crop Research Field Day - Elora Research Station
DESCRIPTION:Come to the University of Guelph Elora Research Station for a tour of cover crop research. This includes research related to greenhouse gas emissions and the 4Rs; legume mix yield and forage quality; long-term impact of cover crop trials; and more. There will also be a demonstration showing water movement through the soil profile using a blue dye. Come\, see\, ask questions. Also\, meet new and familiar University of Guelph faculty\, new and familiar OMAFRA soils extension staff\, other researchers\, and growers. The FREE event runs from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can arrive at 2pm for light refreshments and conversation. If you are able\, stay for 4:30 pm pizza and join the Pasture tour\, both hosted by Beef@Guelph. Walk-ins welcome.
