SUMMARY:Stormont Seed and Forage Show Entries
DESCRIPTION:The 68th Annual Stormont Seed & Forage Show will be held on February 27-28\, 2025 in conjunction with the Crysler Farm Show.  The Seed and Forage Show is open to all farmers who are a member of the Stormont Soil and Crop Improvement Association.\nSSCIA membership is $40/year\, Business Ad $75/year payable when bringing exhibits in if not already prepaid.\nExhibitors may only show in one show.  Rules and regulations are:\n1. All exhibits must have been grown in Stormont County in 2024 by the exhibitor.  Only one entry per exhibitor/farm entity per class is permitted.  Variety is not to be named. All placings are at judge’s discretion as to worthiness.\n2. All entries must be untreated in order to display their natural colour.  Does not apply to Classes 22-40\, 52\,53\, 4-H>108\,109.\n3. Entries will be accepted from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.\, WEDNESDAY\, February 26\, 2025 at the Crysler Community Centre and must be displayed in plastic bags available at the show or from Barbara-Ann Glaude\,613-861-9080\, scia-stormont@ontariosoilcrop.org\n4. Any exhibitor violating any rule of the Show will forfeit his/her Prize Money/Gifts.\n5. The management will not be responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit or for the return of exhibits or containers.\n6. Up to two exhibits per class per County as approved by the judges will be eligible for exhibiting at the Ottawa Valley Seed Show\, March 2025.\n7      To be eligible to show at the Ottawa Valley Seed Show\, all exhibits must have been judged at the Stormont Seed and Forage Show.\n8.    All exhibits which are not going to the Ottawa Valley Farm Show must be removed from the hall by the exhibitor immediately               following the Awards Presentation at 3:00 p.m. on February 28\, 2025.\nPRIZE MONEY: 1ST $15.00\, 2ND $10.00\, 3RD $5.00\, 4TH $5.00\, 5TH $5.00 or equitable prize to replace cash.
