Grey Ag Services is pleased to offer an interactive Resilient Fields webinar on Wednesday January 26th 2022 from 1-3pm. The course will be presented by Paul Bootsma of CFFO, and Charles Lalonde, a Resilient Fields Developer.
Have you heard of the Resilient Fields App? Farmers can use it to trouble shoot challenges they are facing specific to their own fields, and to evaluate practices that may help them improve production, soil health, and profitability.
Resilient Fields uses simple information specific to your fields to select BMPs that may be useful to you. It helps you to weigh the cost and benefit of conflicting BMPs and assess how they might fit into your operation. In the end, it provides you with resources which are, you guessed it – specific to you and your farm! It’s very quick and easy to use, and next week’s course is designed to help you get started!
The app was developed with support from the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, CFFO, the OFA, the Government of Ontario, and the Government of Canada. It is a free tool that can be useful for anyone.
The Grey Ag Resilient Fields webinar is $15.00 and pre-registration is required. Participants should have access to the Resilient Fields app during the webinar, as they will be working through examples from their own farms throughout the course. Please reach out to info@greyagservices.ca to sign up.
Grey Ag Services has many more courses planned for the months of January, February, March and April. Others in the coming week include:
