OSCIA is excited to host the second annual On-Farm Applied Research and Monitoring (ONFARM) Forum on February 10! Researchers and six ONFARM cooperator farmers from across Ontario will share their experiences and findings in support of soil health and water quality Best Management Practices.
Dr. Joshua Faulkner of the University of Vermont Extension will deliver this year’s keynote presentation: On-Farm Water Quality Research and Networking for Climate Resiliency. Dr. Faulkner does applied research and education on soil, water, and nutrient-related issues, from the farmstead to the watershed scale, and works with farmers to enhance farm resilience to climate change.
To register or view the full agenda, visit https://www.osciaresearch.org/onfarm-applied-research/onfarm-forum/.
CCAs will receive two Soil and Water Management CEU credits and one Sustainability CEU credit.
We are excited to share more about ONFARM’s progress to date and where the program is going next!
