As planting wraps up for the majority of us, we have some time to focus on other things beside getting the crop in the ground. For the spare time that is not focused on whether or not it will rain (please, please rain),we can be thinking about what we would like from our local soil and crop improvement association. It has been a tough year, with few events and little human contact, but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. As people get vaccinated and the country/world starts to open up, life will eventually get a little more normal.
SCIA in-person events are still on hold, but we are ready to go when the time is right. In the meantime, we would love some input from you, our members. What are some events that you would like to see organized? If you have a suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact me and share your idea.
If you are doing something unique or different on your farm, or know of someone else who is, and would like to share the experience and results, let me know. I will be happy to share the story with our other members.
If your membership is coming up for renewal, remember to renew online at http://ontariosoilcrop.org
