
A new Species At Risk Partnerships on Agricultural Lands (SARPAL) intake is currently accepting applications!
SARPAL offers 50 per cent cost-share funding to support farmers and agricultural landowners in providing habitat that supports Ontario SAR. Funding is available to protect and enhance these critical habitats, supporting SAR such as Rusty Patch Bumblebee, Henslow’s Sparrow, Little Brown Myotis and more.
Eligible project categories include:
- Tree and Shrub Planting
- Establishment of in-field Perennial Grass Strip(s)
- Wetland Restoration
- Grassland Restoration
- Cross Fencing for Rotational Grazing
- Fencing to Exclude Livestock from Woodland Areas
- Forage Harvest Management (Delayed Haying)
