DESCRIPTION:A key facet in “right rate” is determining an appropriate yield goal. Instead of getting lost in the never-ending quest for maximum yield\, consider goals that are in the producer’s best interest\, provide maximum profit\, deliver maximum benefit\, and acknowledge other sources of N to the crop.
