The On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) intake is now open and accepting applications until 11:59pm (ET) January 18, 2023!

OFCAF provides cost-share funding for Ontario Farmers to implement new practices under in-field nitrogen management, cover cropping and rotational grazing systems.

You can find program information at Ontario On-Farm Climate Action Fund – Ontario Soil Crop. On this page you will find a link to the Program Guide, as well as a link to OSCIAPortal.org, where you can submit an application online. Be sure to read the Program Guide before applying for details on eligible costs and activities, documentation required with an application, and more.

Cost-share is available at 65% of approved project costs and costs can be supported beginning January 1, 2023.

To apply through the OSCIAPortal.org, farmers will first have to create a user account and complete an enrolment for their farm business before they can submit an application. If you applied through email or post in the first intake (August 2022), you can still apply using OSCIAPortal.org as long as you create a user account using the same email address you used on your application in the first intake.
