First snow came on October 31st, hopefully we’ll get an open November for a pleasant harvest. Corn harvest has begun with higher moistures than we have seen in a few years. Soybean harvest hasn’t quite wrapped up yet. Winter wheat looks to be off to a good start. The NSSCIA AGM is planned for December 8th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes church hall in Elmvale. Guest speakers are Alan Priest of Powell Jones in Barrie about succession planning and Horst Bohner, OMAFRA. His topic is 100 bushel beans. All members (family as well) are welcome to attend.
