With the help of the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) and ONFARM cooperators Gord and Rete MacPherson, OSCIA has published a video about Gord and Rete’s ONFARM trial on their farm in Middlesex County.

The video covers Gord and Rete’s farm history, experiences with cover crops and reduced tillage, their goals, and the challenges they’ve faced. The video also features Mike Funk, Agricultural Soil and Water Quality Technician with UTRCA, explaining how surface and subsurface runoff water quality is being monitored at the site. Mike discusses how water quality is monitored and modeled, what tools are being used and the success of BMPs at the site.
