QUINLAN FARMS was awarded the 2022 Conservation Farm Award Winner at the Essex SCIA AGM on December 1st! Presenting to Chad and Walter Quinlan (centre) were Emma Epp of ESCIA and Michael Dick of ESCIA/ERCA.
The Award of Merit was also presented posthumously to longtime ESCIA member, Rob Repko at the 2022 Essex AGM. Henry Denotter (left) presented the award to Rob’s family, including his brother Paul, his mother Carole, and his sister Karen.
The Outstanding Farmer Award was presented to Pat Murphy at the 2023 Lambton Soil and Crop AGM! Presenters included Ryan Benjamins, Jeff Sawyer, Clark Aitken, Pat Murphy (recipient) and Emily Febrey.
The 2022 Chatham-Kent Soil & Crop Improvement Association Annual General Meeting was held on December 2nd, 2022 with a meeting theme about soil organic carbon and new voluntary carbon programs that are available to Ontario farmers.
