There is ample parking at all three locations and a BBQ lunch provided at the plot tour. \nAgenda \n8:45 – Arrive at Gibson Farms – 3238 Concession Rd 3\, Newcastle (included in the map below) \n9:00 – 10:30 – Overview of the Gibson Farms new venture into cherry production and the latest technology in growing apples. \n10:30 – 10:45 – Move to Wilmont Orchards – a 1 minute drive down the road located at 3337 Concession Rd 3\, Newcastle. \n10:45 – 11:45 – Overview of Wilmont Orchards blueberry production and briefing on the farms partnership with Ontario Farmland Trust \n11:45 – 12:00 – Move to Ryeland Farms and the DSCIA test plot located at 7590 Langmaid Rd\, Hampton \n12:15 – 1:00 – Overview of the plot and a BBQ lunch is provided.
