DESCRIPTION:Grey County SCIA and the Ontario Canola Growers Association are presenting their Summer Crop Walk on July 23rd from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. \nThe tour will be hosted by Torrie Farms and Fairmount Farms in the Strathavon/Rocklyn areas. \nThe crop walk features a tour of an organic dairy operation\, forage trial and rotational grazing talk\, scuffler demo\, canola market and nitrogen research updates\, combine and Bushels Plus demo\, and a tillage demo\, plus a pizza lunch! \nKSE Credits for rotational grazing and nitrogen management will be available. CEU credits have been applied for. \nRegistration is free. We ask that everyone wear clean boots to respect farm biosecurity and bring their own lawn chair.
