Gerard shares what his 2025 trial showed about nitrogen rate\, yield\, and profitability in corn following a cover crop — and how he’s taking it further in 2026.\nUpside Robotics — in the field. Upside is testing autonomous robots designed to increase the number of nitrogen splits\, potentially improving nitrogen efficiency and cutting labour. Tom and Christine focus on managing the property’s diverse ecology with the help of a small cow calf herd and a 12-paddocks rotational grazing system.
