DESCRIPTION:Join the Ontario Forage Council and Ontario Grazing Mentors Birgit Martin and Steve Martin for a two-night grazing plan workshop on September 10th and September 17th. \nParticipants will learn about key concepts needed to develop a grazing plan\, such as stocking rate and carrying capacity\, and then see how to developing their grazing plan and use the grazing chart. Come prepared to do the work! \nA grazing plan template will be sent to registered attendees prior to the workshop. The Lambton St. Clair Community Pasture will talk about getting started and the work they’ve completed through the Community Pastures Initiative\, including designing a pasture layout and watering system.
