Grey SCIA Summer Crop Walk

Grey County SCIA and the Ontario Canola Growers Association are presenting their Summer Crop Walk on July 23rd from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm.
The tour will be hosted by Torrie Farms and Fairmount Farms in the Strathavon/Rocklyn areas.
The crop walk features a tour of an organic dairy operation, forage trial and rotational grazing talk, scuffler demo, canola market and nitrogen research updates, combine and Bushels Plus demo, and a tillage demo, plus a pizza lunch!
KSE Credits for rotational grazing and nitrogen management will be available. CEU credits have been applied for.
Registration is free. We ask that everyone wear clean boots to respect farm biosecurity and bring their own lawn chair. Lunch is sponsored by the OCGA and refreshments are sponsored by Sprucedale Agromart, Georgian View Ag Services and Midwest Co-op.
