St. Clair Region SCIA – Compaction Day

Join the St. Clair Region Soil and Crop Improvement Association for their Compaction Day!
This event, hosted by Essex, Chatham-Kent and Lambton Soil & Crop Associations will replace the usual summer twilight tours and events.
Learn how your equipment and its configuration can impact and manage compaction. Other sessions include soil pit on what compaction does to plants, productivity, water infiltration; cover crop types and benefits; tire troubles – how to get the most life out of your tires and what happens when things go wrong!
Demos will be provided to show potential for compaction. The event features guest speakers and the Ontario Compaction Team. There will Cover Cropping topics discussed during the event.
