Research Trials at the Trent University Research Farm

Join farmer-researcher and former EFAO staff member Dillon Muldoon at the Trent Farm Research Centre on August 12th. See research in action, tour the Trent Market Garden, learn more about the Society for Ecological Restoration’s native plant nursery and see the tepary beans project, part of Growing Indigenous Food for All of our Futures. Following the tour and research trial discussion, participants are invited to stay for an optional potluck lunch. Bring a dish to share and your own plate and cutlery, and enjoy a picnic together.

Field trials will include:

EFAO: no-till landrace Maxima squash
EFAO: no-till potatoes
EFAO: efficiacy of wool as mulch
EFAO: PAN network
TFRC: spring cover crops for fall brassicas
TFRC: V6 alternative fertilizer formulations for field corn
CANOVI trials
