Quinte Pasture walk

Join OFC at the Quinte Community Pasture to learn more about the work they’ve completed under the Community Pastures Initiative. From creating a new water retention pond to provide a drinking water source, as well as habitat for wildlife, to installing a solar pump watering system, to creating new pasture, there’s lots to discuss! The pasture will also talk about how they’re intensifying their rotational grazing system.
Where: Quinte Community Pasture, Stella, Amherst Island
When: Wednesday, September 9th, 10am to 1pm
This is a free event, open to anyone, but registration is required.

This event is an OSCIA-recognized Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE) for applicants in with On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) projects in the Rotational Grazing category.
For CCAs and P.Ags this event will count towards the in-person component of the Rotational Grazing Micro-Credential badge. CEU for Crop Management – 2.0 (to be confirmed).
