Cover Crop Lessons and Insights from Two Independent Certified Crop Advisors (Virtual)

Join Deb Campbell and Aaron Breimer as they discuss what they have learned during their careers for what works and doesn’t work when it comes to cover crops. Including species mixes, seeding rates, establishment methods, termination techniques, nitrogen benefits and improving soil health.
Aaron Breimer has been a Certified Crop Advisor for 20 years and has been an independent consultant since 2011. Starting in 2015 when there was significant interest in planting green and utilizing complex multi-species cover crop mixes he began doing strip trials to determine the net positive/negative impacts of different mixes and ideal rates. Deb Campbell has been a Certified Crop Advisor for 25+ years and has extensive knowledge of working with farmers to optimize their productivity including how cover crops can increase yield, improve nutrient use effeciency and how to optimize crop rotations when mother nature challenges normal production plans.
