Hello all, and welcome to the 11th edition of the Georgian Bulletin!
Annual General and Winter Meetings are approaching quickly for many counties – I hope you’ll make an effort to get out to them and take advantage of what your membership offers. To name a few things you can count on at these meetings: excellent speakers, excellent food, and the opportunity to catch up with other farmers in your area!
The North Simcoe and Grey meetings are planned for early December – only a couple of weeks away. Bruce County’s will happen in January, and Dufferin’s in the spring. If another County’s meeting agenda looks interesting, don’t be afraid to go – they welcome everyone. Just be sure to note registration deadlines, as they may have to confirm the number of meals needed ahead of time. Check out the OSCIA’s events calendar to find more info on meetings.
I hope that you’re able to wrap harvest up safely and without too much strife as we come to the end of the year. Tough seasons like this one can leave us feeling drained and needing a break. Hopefully you can take advantage of the coming holiday time with family to re-charge your ‘batteries’.
All the best,
Emily McKague,
On behalf of Grey Ag Services.
