Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the eleventh edition of the Georgian Bulletin, and the final issue of 2022.
I hope that harvest is wrapping up safely, and that you will be able to find the time for a bit of a break after the busy-ness of the season!
Don’t forget to check out some of the extra articles included in this November issue – we’ve had nearly forty data sets submitted from corn and soybean plots, and also have a good representation of the region in weather data from this summer. One of our weather recorders has been collecting data at the same location for nearly thirty years, so be sure to take a look at his charts to see how temperature and rainfall have tracked over that time.
The coming month brings the first of our County’s AGMs. Please keep an eye on your email inboxes and OSCIA’s Grassroots Matters to get the dates as they are announced. These meetings feature guest speakers and the chance to engage with your fellow SCIA members.
On behalf of Grey Ag Services, take care!
