Statistics Canada is now actively contacting farm operators to complete the Farm Management Survey. The survey gathers key information about livestock and crop operations; specifically the production of dairy, beef, poultry, pig, field crops, forage crops and vegetable, fruit, berry and nut crops.

The Farm Management Survey captures current farming practices and the environmental impact of agriculture, and informs programs that directly benefit farmers. In support of farmers impacted by severe weather across the country, survey collection will be adjusted as necessary as to not burden farm operations.

Every survey counts: all farms selected are specifically chosen to achieve a complete understanding of farm management in Canada.
