Workshops
Environmental Farm Plan and Growing Your Farm Profits are two day workshops that are free to producers. Biosecurity workshop is a free one day workshop presented by experts in the respective topic. If you don’t see a workshop close to you, reach out to field staff for options.

Targeted Bee Intake
Changes to the program have been made. Deadline date for submissions after October 12 have until November 30, 2022 to have their project complete and operational and required claims forwarded to the Guelph office.
On Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF)
Possible eligible project for “new” on farm practices for rotational grazing, cover crops and nitrogen management.
Intake 1 was well received with over 1,400 application submissions. All applications will be reviewed and an indication will be received by the producer, from the Guelph office, once the review process has been followed. For those who have approved indications, please review the important information that was provided with the approval letter and contact field staff with questions. The Knowledge Sharing Events (KSE) list on the website is a living list with more event options available continuously.
Intake 2 will be from January 4 to January 18, 2023. Applications will be accepted anytime of day during those intake dates, but producers are encouraged to submit early and during regular business hours in case they encounter issues on which they need staff support.
Eligible Invoice Dates – Jan. 1, 2023 – January 31, 2024. All costs would be in 2023-24.
Claim Deadline – Jan. 31, 2024
Program guide updates to be live Nov. 15th on programguides.ontariosoilcrop.org with minimal changes.  Please review closely before submitting in January 2023.

Species at Risk Partnerships on Agricultural Land (SARPAL)
NEW for 2023: A limit of 1 submitted application per farm business will be eligible for cost-share funding
ALSO: Eligible delayed haying applications must demonstrate a “high” categorization on the Rating for Grassland Birds self-assessment.

The Canadian Agricultural Partnership
This is a Five year Program, which began in 2018 and runs until March 2023. The deadline for claim submissions was September 30, 2022. Hopes are there will be another agricultural framework program to follow “the partnership”
