The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association hosted the ONFARM Research Forum on February 10. The virtual event introduced 170 attendees to the On-Farm Applied Research and Monitoring (ONFARM) program and shared accomplishments from the program’s second field season – including developing an interactive, user-friendly Data Dashboard.
Recordings of all the presentations and discussions are now available on the ONFARM website, including this year’s keynote presentation ‘On-Farm Research and Networking for Climate Resiliency’, delivered by Dr. Joshua Faulkner of the University of Vermont Extension.
Watch the recordings here https://www.osciaresearch.org/onfarm-applied-research/onfarm-forum/ or read the summary report. Share content or video links with your network so that others can benefit from the knowledge shared during the event.
The On-Farm Applied Research and Monitoring (ONFARM) program is a four-year, applied research initiative that began in 2019 which supports soil health and water quality research on farms across Ontario. This program is funded by the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a five-year federal-provincial-territorial initiative.
