Forage Masters Competition Rules
Objective: To promote High-Quality Forage Production in Stormont County, through a friendly competition with a set of Criteria.
Procedure: Each participant will be responsible for collecting a sample of the 1st cut . Judging will take place prior to cutting 2nd cut. It would be nice to have a sample of 2nd cut to judge but not necessary. Judging will be done in accordance with the past Forage Master Competition.
A recent Soil Test is part of the requirement and also a few management questions will be asked.
Contacting the judge at least 2 days prior to 2nd Cut harvest or more would be great to coordinate viewing.
