Today we experienced the first blast of winter here in Dufferin County. Where the snow seemed to drop like a mad swarm of bees. It reminds me that lots of small things need to be done before the deep freeze sets in around the farm. There is lots of corn in our area that is too high in moisture to harvest. I’m hoping that everyone has a safe harvest as it seems the roads keep getting busier and people forget to slow down. We at Dufferin Soil and Crop are looking forward to having our AGM in the upcoming new year. All things have been fairly quite in terms of events that we would like to plan. We will be looking for vendors for the Feed and Seed Show if you wish to come out for the day.
